CREATIVE INSPIRATION is the temporary exhibition upstairs at the museum, featuring ceramics and paintings. Many pieces have been sold so if you`re looking for a special gift come in and have a look.

Hedon Museum is proud to have the Dale Smith collection available for visitors to see. The Smith family kindly granted permission to Ray Duffill a local photographer and Holderness Gazette Correspondent to copy some of Dale`s photos.
Dale lived in Hedon all of his life and took thousands of photos of local people, events and places. He was also the Holderness Gazette Correspondent for many years. Volume one is entitled “Hedon Views” and volume two is “People of Hedon”. There is also a folder with details of all the photos and visitors are asked to add any comments or information if possible.
If you would like to see the collection please ask the volunteer on duty upstairs at the museum. Please do not eat or drink when viewing the photos and we ask that you do not remove or copy them.
